Michael Hara
Sound Immersion, Meditation, Counsellor

Michael is an experienced counsellor, musician and meditation teacher.

He has travelled extensively, including yoga and meditation practice in India, Thailand and Bali that he has continued through his life.

In recent years he has developed Sound Immersion. This is a form of meditation that is very easy to experience; usually lying down on a yoga mat !
The instruments I have selected include Bowls, Rainsticks, Chinese gong and Koshi bells.
I also use a Didgeridoo with appropriate acknowledgement and permissions.
Each of these ancient instruments bring notes, sounds and frequencies to ease the mind and body as we can now see and prove in science; especially in brain waves.

Michelle has immersed herself in the practice of yoga for the past 15 years. Initially her yoga practice was a way of keeping fit and relieving back tension. Now its her greatest source of health and inspiration both physically and emotionally.

Her yoga teacher training began in Byron Bay at the Byron Yoga Centre in 2014. Since then she has travelled throughout Asia and Europe seeking out classes, courses and retreats with many inspiring teachers.

She recently had the opportunity to travel to Spain and trained with Patrycja Devi, completing her Yin and Yoga Nidra teacher training.

Michelle is grateful for the wellness and peace that yoga has brought her. Yoga continually helps navigate many of life’s challenges, develops resilience and strengthens the body and mind.

Tonnille will share her calm nature, true intent and enthusiasm to continue unfolding the layers of yoga in her classes in the Shine MindBody Studio.

Tonnille Hawke

Tonnille’s curiosity in yoga began in 2010, wandering into her first yoga class really not knowing what to expect, but found herself engaged right from the very first Om. Eager to deepen her practice she completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course in India in 2013 and then completing her 350 hour training in the ISHTA lineage through Tamara Yoga in 2021, the curiosity has not stopped as the layers of yoga unfold.

In the beginning it was the challenge to move her body in ways that she had never experienced before and today has evolved into delving into the Philosophy of Yoga and uncovering a deeper understanding of the mind and body connection.

As a Massage Therapist, Tonnille’s desire to assist the body to be at ease, incorporating the breath, body mechanics and mindfulness it seemed only natural to extend these skills into teaching yoga too.

Tonnille will share her calm nature, true intent and enthusiasm to continue unfolding the layers of yoga in her classes in the studio.
